How Awards Work

Trophy awards can be sent from streaming bots, automation tools, or your own software by calling the award URL shown on a trophy's management page.

Before you begin

You need:

• A trophycase.gg account linked to your Twitch account
• At least one trophy created in addition to the Participation Trophy
• Your Award ID and Award Secret
• An automation tool that can send a web request

The recipient must have a trophycase.gg account and must have added your shelf before an award can be delivered.

The award request

Each trophy has an award URL containing your Award ID, Award Secret, and Trophy Code. Replace the recipient placeholder with the Twitch username supplied by your automation tool.

Send the URL as a POST request. Keep your Award Secret private.

What happens next

The response reports whether the trophy was awarded, was already owned, or could not be awarded because the recipient has not added your shelf.
